Monreal launches his candidacy for the Presidency at the Arena México

In the Arena Mexico ring, the coordinator of Morena in the Senate, Ricardo Monreal, reiterated yesterday that he will fight for that party’s candidacy to succeed President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and offered to reconcile a country that is split in two by division and polarization.

That polarization, he warned, it is poison for our country, it breeds mistrust between us, even in our close relationships it fuels conflicts and pushes hatred and violence.

In front of thousands of members of the nascent Reconciliation X Mexico organization (many of whom were young, who carried flags, blankets, banners and T-shirts with his image and with what everything indicates will be his campaign slogan: We are not going to leave, we are not going to crack), Monreal insisted that never been seen the moment of polarization that Mexico is experiencing.

They removed the string so that he could use the ring as a stage, from where he reiterated that the great inequality that exists in the country has been used to feed polarization. But inequality is not eliminated with more division, exclusion and rejection. between cries of president, presidentchanted by those attending this concentration, in which no resources were spared and became a campaign rally, Monreal announced his reconciliation plan.

He highlighted that central part is ensure that the injustice that we drag in the form of inequality and poverty is cured with a State that does not limit itself to helping the least favored people. It is about changing the conditions to eliminate poverty through employment and real opportunities.

He assured, in an Arena Mexico filled almost to 90 percent, that he continues to defend the original essence of the Fourth Transformation movement, but, he reiterated, now polarization can tear our country to pieces and this has to stop.

At the beginning of his speech, which was broadcast simultaneously on social networks, Monreal did not fail to note that We will not have real reconciliation until the people in Mexico have a level playing field. and it is recognized that the security strategy should be reviewed.

13 Morenista senators attended: Rafael Espino, Nancy Sánchez, Ricardo Velázquez, Casimiro Méndez, Adolfo Gómez, Soledad Luévano, Marybel Villegas, Eli Cervantes, José Ramón Enríquez, Claudia Balderas, María Merced González, Cecilia Sánchez and Eduardo Ramírez.

In fact, the contingents arrived by bus from 8:30 in the morning, and while they waited they were encouraged by musical groups until Monreal went up to the ring after half past one, to be introduced as a guest and with the tone that is used in that arena for the great boxers.

The act was announced as a national convention of Reconciliation X Mexico, a citizen platform, which is coordinated by Néstor Nuñez, a former delegate in Cuauhtémoc and very close to the leader of Morena in the Senate. It is expected that in the coming days the cost of the concentration will be disclosed.
