Last week, at the Inter.Mx Expansión Summit 2022, the coordinator of the Morena senators, Ricardo Monreal, explained that the minutes of the PRI deputy Yolanda de la Torre will be passed to the Upper House so that the Armed Forces assume security tasks until 2029, but he acknowledged that they do not give them the numbers to approve it, since a qualified majority is required and not even with the support of Moreno and his allies do they give them 85 votes.
The brunette expressed that the legislators did not foresee that the security conditions would increase in 2019, when the transitory for the constitutional reform was approved, for which he sees a problem in maintaining them until 2023 as planned.
