Politics will always be the art of seeking agreements and understandings in favor of the population. Without stridency or confrontation, we met with Lic. Rosa Icela Rodríguez, Sen. Adán Augusto López and I, to do politics for the good of the country and the movement we represent pic.twitter.com/XqAAYGa31c

Rosa Icela Rodríguez, head of the Ministry of the Interior, reported that at the meeting it was agreed that there will be no extraordinary period for initiatives pending in Congress.
Monreal maintained this Monday morning that he would not seek a meeting with Adán Augusto López nor would he contribute to the dispute, for the sake of unity. Hours later he shared the photograph with his former opponent in the race for the presidential candidacy.
“Despite the fact that I am slandered, that I am very attacked, I am not going to do anything that affects the unity of the movement… that does not mean that it will not be clarified,” said the Morenista before the meeting.
On Friday, in the Senate gallery, López Hernández referred to the cut to the Senate budget of 123 million pesos. He said that the decision of the Chamber of Deputies will be assumed, but he also announced the termination of two contracts for 150 million pesos and another three or four more that were “business deals” from previous Senate administrations.
The person responsible for the questioned administration was Monreal himself, who on the same day summoned his party colleague to present the corresponding complaints and ruled out anomalies.
This Monday, after President Claudia Sheinbaum reminded them both that they were elected by “the people” and they owe it to them, Monreal said that that recommendation would be addressed.
“I am a man without grudges and as President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said: love and peace,” he expressed.
In the dispute “we both lose and obviously those who do not agree with us rub their hands so that the dispute continues, I am not going to do it. “That is a personal but consistent decision.”
