Miyerlandi Torres, leader of the dependency, announced that staff training, prevention and access to communication channels, are the actions that will be taken in the city.
“We have worked on training for all medical and health personnel, around case identification, notification and epidemiological surveillance“said the official.
According to the Ministry of Health, To date there have been no reported cases.However, the authorities urge citizens to isolate themselves for 20 days and take the treatment and resort to health services such as the EPS and IPS of the city, in case of suffering any type of complication.
“We have strengthened our means of communication with the community and in the face of the massive events that occur in the city with the different entities, we will be contributing to epidemiological surveillance,” the official pointed out.
The official added that it is necessary to intensify all actions and measures on the virus especially during the activities and festivals that take place in the city where there are many foreign visitors.
