Durand reportedly submitted his affidavit to the Comptroller’s Office on September 4, 2018, later, on September 13, 2019, still in his capacity as minister, he submitted a sworn statement of assets rectifying the statement submitted in 2018, which would contain data that they did not adjust to the reality of their equity assets and liabilities.
IRREGULARITIES
The alleged false data of Durand are related to real estate and vehicles that he put in his name, although, on the papers, they appeared as belonging to Mocipar.
According to the report of the Public Ministry, one of them is a property located in the city of Ypacaraí. Durand had declared the acquisition of Farm 9,176, in 1994. However, this property is identified within the inventory of assets, as an asset in the lawsuit of Mocipar Properties SA, a company that has been declared bankrupt.
In relation to the four vehicles declared as their property, three of these vehicles are registered in the National Directorate of the Automotive Registry in the name of Durand Properties SA, and one of them in the name of Mocipar Automotores SA
Regarding the Porsche, Boxster model, year 1998, in 2012, by public deed the vehicle was sold and transferred in favor of Mocipar Automotores SA Firma, to date it has been declared bankrupt and who has included in its inventory said vehicle, and there is even an order to seize it.
Therefore, once again Dany Durand Espínola would have declared data that would not adjust to the truth, by registering in his favor vehicles that are not registered in his name in the Directorate of the Motor Vehicle Registry and there is at least one private contract. of purchase-sale between these companies that could in one way or another justify the consignment of these four vehicles as theirs in their Affidavit of Assets and Income year 2018, and later in their Affidavit of Assets and Income, Corrective, year 2019.
