The provisional formation of seven provincial boards of directors of the Other Path Movement was unanimously approved at the monthly session of the National Board of Directors (JDN) of the party held this Saturday morning in La Chorrera, province of Panamá Oeste.
In this way, the directives of Coclé, Colón, Chiriquí, Herrera, Veraguas, Panamá and Panamá Oeste are officially ready to undertake reorganization and reinforcement tasks in the “west”, a region in which MOCA obtained around 95 thousand votes.
In the session, which lasted about four hours, the organization secretary, Ricardo Correoso, presented the construction schedule of the circuit, district and township coordinations throughout the country, as well as the party’s strategic plan.
On the other hand, Juan José Ramírez, executive secretary, presented the status of the MOCA database, in addition to reporting the pending actions for its management and maintenance to make it grow and make it functional as a key tool for strengthening the organization.
The meeting agenda also included the presentation of reports from the presidency and the general secretary, as well as the finance and legal affairs secretaries, minutes and correspondence.
Likewise, MOCA’s positions regarding the Social Security Fund and the existing tension as a result of the statements of the President of the United States regarding the Panama Canal were discussed.
Next, in the afternoon, the JDN held a meeting with the board of directors of the province of Panama Oeste in which the provincial organization plan was reviewed and approved.
In the month of February, the second ordinary JDN meeting of the year will be held, which will take place in the province of Colón, as part of the RE-START of the movement.
