Mitic and Hospital del Trauma launch campaign "Don't handle ka'ure"

The Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (Mitic), and the Hospital del Trauma, launched the campaign “Don’t handle ka’ure”. Authorities urge the population not to drive under the influence of alcohol when they travel to the interior to visit their relatives.

Fernando Saguier, minister of Mitic, urged the population not to ruin the great family reunion.

“A year ago it was the worst wave of Covid-19 and today it is under control. Today we can meet again. Do not ruin the long-awaited family gathering. Let it not be the last supper. Holy Week is a time for reflection,” she noted.

He stressed that they carried out various actions, touring the bars, handing out awareness materials at traffic lights.

“When we followed the alcohol test controls, we saw fewer people who were drunk. We suggest many alternatives to not driving drunk. There are the digital platforms or designating a driver,” she noted.
