“These are things that have been happening in isolation. Outside the Cabinet. Those were things that the advisers organized and that the president carried out by his councils”, he indicated.
Frustration in the Ministerial Cabinet
Mirtha Vásquez reflected on the frustration they felt in the Ministerial Cabinet for not having much communication with the president due to having an agenda with constant trips to the interior of the country.
“Many times we have felt frustrated and not only I but also several ministers because we tried to carry out a series of objectives, we wanted to have more relationship with the president and suddenly there was a lot of disorder or he did not have time to attend to us“, Held.
“Sometimes he would run to a provincial (…) the advisers are there to tell him that, that some important state issues have to be prioritized, that they have to be discussed with the ministers. We were frustrated on the subject of how we have a better relationship with the president”, he concluded.
