The Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) appointed Carmen Giselle Huamán Olivo to the post of Secretary of Social Management and Dialogue, some three months after her resignation to this same position was accepted during the administration of Guido Bellido as prime minister.
The Ministerial Resolution 260-2021-PCM that bears the signature of Mirtha Vásquez was published this Saturday, November 6, in the legal regulations bulletin of El Peruano and details that, given the vacant position, it was up to the appointment of the new person in charge of that secretariat.
Huamán Olivo was appointed to this position on December 4, 2020, when Violeta Bermúdez held the position of Prime Minister in the Government of Francisco Sagasti.
In August 2021, with Guido Bellido as head of the PCM, the resignation of the official was accepted, thanking him for the services provided.
The supreme resolution published by Mirtha Vásquez specifies that the appointment of Giselle Huamán is in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 29158, Organic Law of the Executive Power; Law No. 27594, Law that regulates the participation of the Executive Power in the appointment and appointment of public officials; and the Integrated Text of the Regulations for the Organization and Functions of the PCM.
