The governor of Miranda, Héctor Rodríguez, presented the balance of his administration in 2022 before the Legislative Council of the entity (Clebm), where he highlighted the productive growth of the state.
During the act, the president delivered to the president of the legislature, Joan Contreras, and to the state comptroller, Rafael López, the supports that endorse the management of the year 2022.
Rodríguez highlighted that the entity contributed in productive matters to the country and emphasized that the installed industrial capacity of the region went from 7% to 21% at the beginning of 2022, to close at 35% at the end of the year, the government said in a note press.
He noted that the figures show that the sector is experiencing sustained growth that allows externalizing the operational capacity of the state.
Meanwhile, he referred to the importance of the development of science and technology in the country, in order to eradicate dependence on imports. “You have to believe in what has been done in Venezuela, develop the chemical and biological industry as a challenge that will force the State to buy Venezuelans,” he stressed.
He announced that by 2023 his objective is to strengthen the power of the Mirandino people through the organization with the communal councils for the development of management.
For his part, Contreras thanked Governor Rodríguez and his work team for the level of articulation achieved with all powers, especially between the legislative and executive branches, as well as with Popular Power, with the firm objective of building collective well-being.
“We know that it was not an easy year, it was full of complexities, but I must acknowledge the courage and courage with which social policies were maintained and with which both the national, regional and municipal governments were on the side of the most vulnerable sectors,” said the comptroller.

Governor Héctor Rodríguez specified that two popular consultations are planned for this year for the allocation of resources to social impact plans, in addition to the internationalization of the state industry in order to contribute and diversify the economy.
He explained that they will seek the means to internationalize the industries of the Miranda state, as well as to regulate everything related to the ventures, for which he requested the support of Clebm regarding the normative and regulatory framework of each of these initiatives.
Likewise, he said that regulations or legal projects are necessary for the new era that the country is experiencing, considering the sectors of social, economic, productive and security policy, especially that which is binding on intrafamily violence.
He stressed that they will continue to work on improving the technical conditions for crime prevention.
