At first, Carne D’Tres received the approval of the Avilanian government to promote the breeding, fattening and reproduction of animals with average genetics, but its managers identified greater opportunities with the conversion of the business and thus became one of the almost 5,000 MSMEs that have received the green light to operate almost a year after this process began in the country.
The aspiration of its directors is to market some 130 tons of pork and its derivatives this year, in order to exceed the 97 tons sold during 2021, according to the television report, which does not detail the amount of the future investment nor its origin.
To achieve this goal, the new MSMEs are moving towards production with their own animals. “We intend to slaughter and market them, taking into account clean production with the use of biogas and the liquid feed plant that will allow us, with mixed feeds, imported feed and alternative feeds, to obtain an efficient production system and collaborate with the production of meat in the municipality, in the province and in the country”, explained Duarte.
Among the immediate projections that would promote the expected investment would be the completion of a ship destined for the slaughter of animals, something that would speed up the production process and the conservation of meat.
“Once we finish the slaughterhouse and the packing plant, which is 40% of its construction phase, our production process will flow more easily and adequately,” added the director of the private MSME.
