Ingenius, one of the micro, small and medium-sized companies (MSME) that operate in Cuba, works together with the state-owned Software Production Company for Electronic Techniques (Softel) on a platform for digital signatures, beneficial in document validation.
Yadira Rodríguez Pérez, head of the management group at Softel, said to the official newspaper Granma that project the new service through the Application Programming Interface, for integration with third-party platforms that require signing documents online.

Adds the directive that the proposals contemplate the implementation of the Desktop electronic signature from computers, through which users will be able to sign selected documents and configure the appearance of the signature, among other functionalities.
Both entities will also work on a new paid version of the E-firma application for the IOS and Android operating systems that will allow the management of digital certificates issued by other authorities in the country.
genius, which was among the first 35 authorized MSMEs in Cuba, is made up of a team of young people who previously operated under the self-employment category. It provides computer and electronic solutions services, as well as software development for national and foreign clients.

Rodríguez Pérez also commented that Softel will provide the incorporation of new services to the Tax Portal, according to projections from the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT); among these, the issuance of certificates for other organizations digitally signed by the taxpayer, as well as the management of the sworn statement by legal persons.
During the first half of the year, the company will complete the development of the second version of the Integro pki platform with new functionalities and integrated into the Citizen’s Single File, which will improve the management and processes for issuing and validating certificates.
Granma It refers that as part of the work carried out by the company focused on the public health sector, there is the digital medical record.
In this sense, the directive explained that the HL7 standard (Health Level 7) will be incorporated into Galen Clínicas, which facilitates integration with other existing solutions in the digital ecosystem of the National Public Health System.
Likewise, new services will be integrated into the telemedicine platform for the remote monitoring of patients, through the combination of medical equipment developed by the Combiomed Digital Medical Technology Company for patients suffering from arrhythmias.
