He Ministry of Labor and the El Nogal Social Club agreed to set up a dialogue table to analyze and correct possible irregularities detected during an inspection, surveillance and control visit carried out by the Territorial Directorate of Bogotá. The intervention occurred after the entity received anonymous complaints related to an alleged mass dismissal in the organization.
According to the preliminary report, The inspection allowed us to identify 76 voluntary termination agreements of labor contracts signed between the company and workers.. Although the club assured that these were mutually accepted terminations, the authorities will analyze whether the procedures were in accordance with current labor standards.

He Minister of Labor, Antonio Sanguinoexplained that the main objective of the inspection was to verify the reported facts and review compliance with labor obligations, especially in terms of guarantees and protection of employees.

“The Bogotá Territorial Directorate of the Ministry of Labor is carrying out inspection, surveillance and control tasks at the El Nogal Social Club, to determine compliance with labor standards, given that we received anonymous complaints related to a possible mass dismissal”, he mentioned.
For his part, the director of the Territorial Bogotá, Amaury Gómezpointed out that during the visit findings were recorded that require attention and that these will be addressed at the dialogue table established between the parties.
“In this space of dialogue we will be proposing corrective measures to correct the findings found and comprehensively improve the conditions of the workers of this company.“, said.

The Ministry of Labor also reported that it is in the validation stage of possible cases of enhanced job stability, particularly due to health conditions among workers who signed the termination agreements. The verification will allow us to determine if some of them had special protection at the time of ending their contract.
This administrative process will continue in the coming days, while the portfolio evaluates the documentation obtained and requests additional information from the club. The results of the investigation will determine whether to adopt sanctions, recommendations or compliance measures to guarantee labor rights in the club.
