The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) suggested approving a third booster dose against COVID-19 starting next month according to report of Latin Press (PL).
The process will be staggered and includes the population between the ages of 19 and 69.
Until 3/27, 10,731,442 people have received at least one dose of one of the Cuban SOBERANA 02, SOBERANA Plus and ABDALA vaccines. Of them, 9,450,557 already have the 2nd dose and 9,148,983 the 3rd dose. 10,010,413 have a complete vaccination schedule.

According to requires the official newspaper Granma, the process will begin once the period established for the application of the second reinforcement is completed.
The information came out this Tuesday from a meeting between experts and scientists with President Miguel Díaz-Canel.
The Cuban health authorities plan to determine the annual anti-COVID-19 vaccination periodicity, so that it is included in the National Immunization Program.
To date, 10 million 731 thousand 335 people have received at least one dose. Of these, 9,450,488 already have the second, while the third has been applied to 9,148,870 people.

90.7% of the population has a complete vaccination schedule and a total of eight million 712 thousand 929 people have booster doses, according to PL.
Cuba has applied the national invoice immunogens Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala.
