Minsal reports 2,115 cases of covid-19, 36 deaths and positivity of 2.51%

The Ministry of Health reported 2,115 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, 36 people died and a positivity of 2.51% nationwide.

Of the total of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours, .1332 present symptoms, 602 are asymptomatic and 181 were not notified.

With this update, the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 1,768,584, while the deaths total 38,439. Meanwhile, the active cases to date are 12,537.

Regarding the healthcare network, Minsal reported that there are 692 people hospitalized, of which 597 are on mechanical ventilation. There are 2,080 critical beds enabled, 180 of them available.
