Undersecretary of Public Health, Christopher Square, commented that the National Pandemic Response Commission (CNRP) is analyzing the possibility of an eventual fifth dose against covid-19. In addition, he did not rule out the option that people could be inoculated once or twice a year.
“Currently, we’re looking at protection data over the next few months in people who have had their fourth dose, so we know how long that protection lasts. That’s a question that’s not fully settled yet, so the decision definition of when and to whom it will be necessary to inoculate with a fifth dose is still under evaluation,” he said.
