Minsa will pay outstanding accounts with 8 transfers of items for B/. 46.7 million

Eight transfers of items were approved by the Budget Commission of the National Assembly, to the Ministry of Health by the order of B/. 46.7 million.

According to the Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, the money will be used to make payments on pending accounts for the project of operation and maintenance services and infrastructure improvements of the sewage system, collectors, sanitary pumping system and water treatment system of the districts of Panama and San Miguelito.

Another part will be used to pay for electricity in health facilities.

In addition to this, it will be paid for the maintenance and repair of works, construction of the health center, El Guabo, health center in the region of Bocas del Toro, sub-health center of Kuna Nega, health center of Mañanitas and the improvement from the health center of Palmas Bellas in the province of Colón, among others.

The money will also be used for the sanitation project in Panama.
