The Ministry of Health (Minsa), in coordination with the Social Security Fund (CSS), started a technical group formed by the Association of Medical Radiology Technicians of Panama (Anteramed), in order to improve their working conditions.
Dr. Alessandro Ganci, advisor to the Minsa Superior Office, commented that the union presented five points that are being clarified to solve their requests, adding that some new appointments have been made that must be followed up.
He explained that three commissions were established: one for teaching to seek mechanisms for updating and continuing medical education for some technicians who want to become graduates, another to follow up on the classifications, and the third is to review with the lawyers of the Minsa and of the CSS to see the legal feasibility of what they are requesting.
