MINSA reports 285 positive cases, 3 deaths and 20 patients in ICU due to Covid-19

The number of infections by Covid -19 for this Thursday, December 2, counts 285 positive cases, for a cumulative total of 478,275.

There were 3 deaths that accumulate 7,370 deaths with a fatality of 1.5%.

In the last 24 hours, 7,345 tests were applied for a positivity of 3.8%.

Active cases total 2,704, of which 2,598 are in home isolation, of which 2,524 remain at home and 74 in hospital hotels.

There are 86 hospitalized patients of which 20 are in the ICU.

In Panama Oeste from this Friday the 3rd to Sunday the 5th the vaccination begins at various points. This Friday vaccination posts will be enabled in schools: Corozales outside, La Herradura, El Coco, Santa Rita, Zanguenga, El Límite, Arosemena, Llano Largo, Victoriano Chacón and José María Barranco.

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), in its monthly report on the situation of Covid-19 in Panama, as of November 30 of this year, reveals that the country continues to decline in the number of hospitalizations in wards, in ICU and semi ICU as well as deaths.

The Ministry of Health reminds the population not to lower their guard and continue to apply biosecurity measures, such as the use of a mask, alcoholic gel, facial screen in public passenger transport, hand washing, physical distancing and use of alcohol.
