A call for the population to celebrate these year-end festivities with due care not to suffer burns as a result of handling fireworks or fireworks, was made this Tuesday by the Vice Minister of Health Ivette Berrío who also insisted that these artifacts can exert a great noise that affects the auditory system even in animals.
He highlighted above all that many children arrive at health facilities impacted both physically and psychologically by the use of these products, which is why he reiterates that parents be vigilant when operating fireworks.
“We call on all people to take into account that these products cause damage and pain when they are mishandled and we do not want to see our children hospitalized with serious burns,” said the vice minister of the branch.
Being in contact with fire endangers not only those who handle it, but also those around them.
Improper handling carries a number of risks, such as hearing and sight loss, body burns, hand and foot injuries, and in the worst case, death.
