After a video of an incident between lynx units of the National Police and an official from the Ministry of the Presidency who claimed to know Vice President Gabriel Carrizo and that she would use her influence against the units went viral, this institution reported that said officer will be fired from his post.
In the statement sent by the Ministry of the Presidency, they report that “Nobody is above the Law” and that this official was not known, nor did she have a direct relationship with the Vice President of the Republic, they also reiterated that neither in the government nor in someone in the country may consider that they are above what the law mandates.
“The National Government communicates that the official will be dismissed from her position,” the press release ends by saying.
