Ministry of National Assets signed a commitment with AMUR for the regularization and reorganization of domain titles in Alhué

The Ministry of National Assets, headed by Minister Javiera Toro, in the company of the seremi of the portfolio in the RM, Germán Pino, signed a commitment with the Association of Rural Municipalities (AMUR) to carry out joint work that facilitates the regularization and sanitation of domain titles in Alhué and that they hope to repeat in the rest of the rural communes of the Metropolitan region.

“We understand that our regularization role is not simply to comply with numbers, it is also to be at the service of local needs and listen to what the mayors have to say regarding regularization, that the files that are going to reach our processing have the visa of local governments, where they tell us if these homes are in places that allow us to ensure not only property, but also access to services, to a city and a planned rurality, “said the head of National Assets.

For his part, Seremi Germán Pino maintained that “we have an express mandate from President Gabriel Boric, also from our minister Javiera Toro, to work with the authorities and with people in the territories. Each file that enters the Ministry of National Assets or the Seremi, we put a face on it, because behind those files are the people, the families, the social organizations that have been waiting for their processing for some time.”

Meanwhile, the mayor of Alhué, Roberto Torres, warned that “it is not the same for someone to buy a plot to subdivide it and become a millionaire, as for a grandfather, a father or a son, and so on, to hand over an inheritance” .

“This agreement will allow us to work together with the Seremi, with the 18 rural communes of the Metropolitan Region and especially with Alhué so that tens and hundreds of families in a short time can have their domain titles. In the case of Alhué we have more of 100 folders in National Assets, from families who hope to obtain their domain titles,” he said.
