Saint Dominic.– He Ministry of Labor reminded all employers of the obligation to submit to theGeneral Directorate of Labor (DGT) the Permanent Personnel Form (form DGT-3) within the first fifteen days of January 2026, as established by current labor regulations.
The institution specified that the renewal of the payroll must be carried out annually and deposited no later than January 15, in accordance with the article 15 of Regulation 258-93 for the application of the Labor Code.
To complete the process, it is essential to update the data of the company and each establishment, in order to keep the registration active in the system.
The Ministry explained that the document must be registered digitally through the platform https://ovi.mt.gob.dowhere employers must register their workers according to the establishment in which they provide services.
Once the accuracy of the information has been verified, the corresponding payment must be made, either through an electronic transaction with a credit or debit card, or by acquiring a PIN at any of the Local Labor Representations.
In the case of new companies or employers, the procedure begins with the creation of a user in the digital platform, followed by the registration of the data of the company and its establishments.
Upon completion of the registration of workers and sending of the fDGT-3 formthe system will generate the amount to be paid, which must be settled through the authorized channels to complete the final registration.
The entity warned that failure to comply with this obligation within the established period exposes employers to the criminal labor sanctions provided for in the Labor Code.
