This Friday, the Ministry of Labor reported that it ordered the reopening of the Jon Sonen Serrezuela store in the city of Cartagena.
The premises had been sealed by an order from the Bolivar Territorial Directorate of the Ministry of Labor, “for not complying with labor regulations with its workers, for which reason it was authorized to reopen its doors to the public.”

“The commercial establishment in question completed 48 hours of closure and after two labor inspectors made a visit to the warehouse and they will verify the compliance related to the affiliation to occupational risks of the workers, it was decided to withdraw the seal”, explained on the subject, the Minister of Labor, Gloria Inés Ramírez.
As it became known, the sanction had been imposed, “on verifying that the employer violated the rights of his workers, by not having them affiliated with the labor risk administrator, putting their safety and health at risk”.

It was also indicated that in the course of the proceeding, the representative of the company provided the proof of affiliation of one of the workers of the ARL Sura, “through the company Humana Link SAS. This confirms compliance with the corrective action of the employer, regarding the conduct originating from the work stoppage.”
It is worth noting that the information “was known after the Twitter account of the President of the Republic, Gustavo Petro, went viral on November 29, denouncing the situation of a former worker who was removed from the facilities of this warehouse, for claiming the payment of their social benefits”.
The woman was handcuffed by police officers, with her baby in her arms, while another of her sons recorded a video about this situation.
