Ministry of Labor explains how November holidays are paid

As the days of national holidays approach, the question arises as to how the payment for national holidays is. Mr. Boris Lasso, Head of Labor Guidance of the Ministry of Labor, explained on Radio Panama what the extra percentage that employers must pay to workers is like. workers.

“All workers who work on November 3, 5, 10 and 28 will be receiving an additional 150% on what they earn on the work day,” said Lasso.

I also indicate that this year, November 3 and 10 fall on a Sunday, so the day off goes to Monday, November 4 and 11, and if you work those Monday days that are free, there will be a 50% surcharge.
