The federal government authorized on Monday (27) the resumption of 478 more health works in 290 municipalities across the country. The measure appears Eum Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, signed by Minister Nísia Trindade, and published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU).
The publication brings a list of 282 works that will be reactivated or regularized and 196 works that were allowed to be renegotiated. The works of reform, expansion or construction of health facilities include the states of Alagoas, Amazonas, Amapá, Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Rondônia, Santa Catarina, Sergipe, Sao Paulo and Tocantins. The federal resources for the works total R $ 189 million.
According to the folder, the works announced on Monday are divided into 109 health academies, two ambiences, two Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS), five specialized rehabilitation centers (CER), 340 Requalifies Basic Health Units (UBS ), a Basic Fluvial Health Unit and 19 Emergency Care Units (UPAs).
“With the new announcement, the Federal Government reaches a total of 1,478 reactivated and renewed works by the Health Works Resumption Program. This means that about 60% of the works with documentation presented to participate in the program has already been resumed,” said the Ministry, in a note.
Since the beginning of the government, a total of 5,573 works in the area of paralyzed or unfinished health have been identified. In January 2024, the Ministry of Health launched the Health Works Resumption Program. States and municipalities were consulted and 3,594 works had a manifestation of interest in participating in the program. In total, 2,504 works presented the documentation required by the folder to participate in the resumption.
