He Ministry of Education presented a guide for detection of learning difficulties in girls and boys at the Initial Education level, in a public event held in La Paz on April 17.
This tool, called Guide for the detection of Warning Signs at the level of Initial Education in Community Familyaims to provide data on possible signs of learning difficulties, which will allow anticipate the presence of disabilities or delays in the development of basic functions for learning.
The document aims to improve the educational processes of girls and boys between 4 and 6 years old, to do so, it offers educators a series of activities aligned with the central contents of curricular development.
The Vice Minister of Alternative and Special Education, Viviana Mamani, highlighted the importance of this guide for detect learning difficulties early in initial level students.
“This guide will help them detect learning difficulties that often exist, but cannot be detected. With these tools, initial level teachers can identify early warning signs“, he pointed.
The Guideand structure in four fundamental parts: Psychomotor skills, Cognitive Factors, Academic Achievements and Affective Factors; provides information about the neuroeducational maturity expected in boys and girls at certain ages.
