The Ministry of Defense approved the ordinary call for voluntary incorporation into active Military Service in the Peruvian Army, under the garrison modality, aimed at personnel from the 2008 class and previous classes.
The measure corresponds to Fiscal Year 2026 and was made official through Ministerial Resolution No. 00116-2026-DE, published in the newspaper The Peruvian.
According to the standard, The incorporation process will take place in two stages, with the objective of progressively organizing the entry of young people interested in completing military service.
Likewise, the General Command of the Peruvian Army is authorized to establish the specific dates of the call, based on institutional needs.
The resolution also provides that the Peruvian Army be duly notified for the corresponding purposes. The document bears the signature of the Minister of Defense, César Díaz Peche, which formally begins the call process for voluntary military service in the current fiscal year.
