Ministers, governors, officials and leaders of the Front of All celebrated on Sunday night the appointment of Silvina Batakis as head of the Ministry of Economy replacing Martín Guzmán, who submitted his resignation on Saturday afternoon.
The chief of staff, Juan Manzur, expressed himself through his Twitter account: “I celebrate the appointment of Silvina Batakis as Minister of Economy. The government adds a specialist who carried out a successful management in the Province of Buenos Aires. The Minister of Productive Development of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, did the same, who celebrated the appointment of Silvina Batakis as Minister of Economy to replace Martín Guzmán and described her as a “tireless worker” and a “person of great human quality” with “extensive professional training”.
“I highlight President Alberto Fernández’s decision to convene Dr. Silvina Batakis as the Nation’s Minister of Economy,” Scioli said on Twitter.
He considered that Batakis, who was Minister of Economy during her tenure as governor of the province of Buenos Aires between 2011 and 2015, is “a person of great human quality and extensive professional training. A tireless worker with a great sense of responsibility and outstanding experience “.

For her part, the Minister of Women, Gender and Diversity, Elizabeth Gomez Alcorta, greeted the Minister of Economy and celebrated the “enormous joy” of working together for a “fairer” nation.

Meanwhile, the governor of Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora, maintained that the appointment “is good news” and wished him “the best of success” and “all his support.”
“The appointment of Silvina Batakis as head of the National Ministry of Economy is good news, due to her background, experience and recognized ability,” Zamora said on Twitter.
“I wish you the best of success and all my support, in the face of the important challenge that the entrusted responsibility implies,” the Santiago president expanded.

In a similar sense, the governor of Catamarca, Raúl Jalil, expressed himself.

The governor of Chaco, Jorge Capitanich, also congratulated Batakiz.
