The Minister of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, submitted yesterday before the National Assembly the Report and Account of the bodies and entities of the centralized and decentralized National Public Administration.
He explained that the delivery was made in compliance with the provisions of article 244 of the national Constitution, which establishes that the ministers will present to the National Assembly, within the first sixty days of each year, a reasoned and sufficient report on the management of the office in the immediately preceding year.
Likewise, he highlighted the importance of the act as part of the defense and integrity of the National Public Administration and the institutions in our country.
Once delivered, it will be up to the corresponding committees of Parliament to review the reports of each ministerial entity.
The National Assembly is the body that, in addition to legislating, exercises control functions over the government and the National Public Administration, in accordance with article 187, paragraph 3 of the Constitution.
Subsequently, the considerations are submitted to the Parliament Secretariat for review and final approval of the procedures.
