The Minister of the Interior, Carolina Tohá, referred to the security table carried out by the government and called on the opposition to be part of the dialogues.

“We have been quite clear about the invitation that this commitment, which we have as a government, be a commitment from all political forces,” the minister stressed.

“When there is compromise, what is achieved in the first place is to have unity behind the same purposes, put aside the matters that divide us and find those in which we agree,” he added.

The minister stressed that “this invitation that we have made as the Government of Chile to seek agreements was not only our idea, but in the first place, it was something that was made to us precisely by the opposition forces.”

“It is very curious to see that political forces, which are the ones that requested a security agreement, today say that it is not necessary. We always consider that it is necessary, ”he concluded.
