The Minister for Education, Yelitze Santaella, held a meeting on Monday with the representative of Public Alliances of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Andrés Franco, in order to deepen international cooperation between Venezuela and the institution of the United Nations.
Following instructions from our president @NicolasMaduro I held an important work meeting with Mr. Andrés Franco, Representative of Public Alliances of @UNICEF Global, to deepen the exercise of international cooperation by the Bolivarian Government,” Santaella wrote on the social network Twitter.
Since 1967, UNICEF has been in Venezuela, with the aim of accompanying public policies for child care.
Meeting between Santaella and her counterpart from Colombia
Later, the Minister of Education met with her counterpart from Colombia, Alejandro Gaviria.
Through their Twitter account, both reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between nations.

Since the inauguration of Gustavo Petro, Venezuela and Colombia began the stage of reestablishing relations between nations.
First, both nations appointed their respective ambassadors, in order to restore diplomatic relations.
Commercial relations will begin to be restored, when reopen the borders, event that will take place on September 26.
