Minister Rutherford will prosecute five former Army generals for embezzlement of public funds

The visiting minister of the Martial Court, Romy Rutherford, will prosecute several former general secretaries of the Army for the crimes of embezzlement of public funds.

Specifically, it is about the retired generals Alberto González, José Llanca, John Griffiths, Sergio Ahumada and Guillermo Porcile for amounts that exceed more than $450 million.

All will be prosecuted for embezzlement of public funds in one of the edges where the former commander in chief of the Army, Juan Miguel Fuente-Alba, who is prosecuted and formalized by justice, is involved.

Likewise, Rutherford decreed the seizure of assets: $170 million to Porcile; $100 million to Alberto González; $93 million to John Griffiths; $88 million to Sergio Ahumada and $50 million to José Manuel Llanca.
