Regarding the regulation of the use of medical and therapeutic cannabisSucre revealed that for this week the Inter-institutional Commission will be called, in such a way that it is already working and presenting to the president, Laurentino Cortizo, the methodology to be able to select the different companies that participate and that could take responsibility.
“This issue must be treated with great responsibility and what is sought are companies that already have experience in this matter, since Panama is just beginning in this,” he said.
Covid-19; tests decrease
The head of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), explained that the latest reports they received this weekend, reflected a positivity between 8% and 9%, and the number of tests for Covid-19 has been decreasing, as has the number of cases.
Despite this, Sucre stressed that it is important that we know that from time to time we are presenting deaths. “Deaths are occurring mainly in people over 55 years of age, who suffer from chronic diseases, who have problems with their immune system, but above all, and most importantly, in people who do not have their complete vaccine schedule. , which is already four doses,” he added.
He recalled that the only way to be properly immunized and protected so that there are no complications due to Covid-19 is to get vaccinated.
Clandestine vaccination
