“All the protests are legitimate and I ask our health workers, how many years has our sector been abandoned? We don’t have hospitals built, just 7 years ago we started this hospital process, I have 840 million soles to strengthen the health posts and centers, talking to each other we understand each other, I’m not afraid of shouting or anything, because just like you I have a family and a father with cancer in Nueva Esperanza – Ayacucho and his medicines cannot reach him due to the protests. It saddens me that many hospitals do not receive equipment, tons of medicines because the roads are blocked, ”he said.
He also assured that for the first time in history, 100% of the budget destined for Junín in January is being delivered to purchase equipment and medicines, he also regretted that a tomograph and resonator cannot be brought to the region due to fear blockades and road closures.
