The Minister of Health, César Vásquez, said that, at any time, there may be changes of ministers.
The authority responded, with that phrase, when asked about the recent motion of censure presented, in Congress, against the Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Julio Demartini, for the new scandal in Qali Warma, whose position hangs by a thread.

At another time, Vásquez said that “if he (Demartini) has assumed his political responsibility (for the scandal in Qali Warma), he will have to make his decisions.”
This, when asked if the holder of the Development and Social Inclusion portfolio should resign.
“Those are decisions that go through the president. The ratification of ministers is decided by the president. At any time there can be changes (of ministers). We are always subject to evaluation,” he said.
The parliamentary measure against Demartini comes after the Fourth Power program revealed that the company Frigoinca had fraudulently labeled horse meat as if it were beef, for canned food destined for schools through the Qali Warma program since 2021.
The presence of canned goods, Don Simón brand, in poor condition was also confirmed. These were destined for schools in various regions such as La Libertad, Áncash and Cajamarca.
Motion for Interpellation
For its part, Somos Perú presented a motion for interpellation against the head of Midis.
The parliamentary measure seeks to have Demartini answer a sheet of 14 questions before the Plenary Session of Congress, given the Qali Warma scandal.
The measure presented would have 25 signatures. However, since the motion of censure has been introduced first, it must be debated and voted on first.
