The Minister of Economy, José Arista, became upset when asked about Petroperú during a visit to Cusco.
In a video broadcast by Perú 21, journalist Carol Gonzales is heard asking the head of the MEF: “Minister, what happened to Petroperú? Is it possible to steal a little while?”
After that, Arista lost her temper and responded: “Why are you so hateful and speaking lies?”
However, the communicator asked him again: “What has happened to Petroperú, why do they continue to give it more money if it is no longer possible to solve a bankrupt company?”
Obviously angry, José Arista told him: “nothing has happened”, and later, he continued on his way.
It is worth mentioning that the head of Economy had a meeting with the regional governor of Cusco, Werner Salcedo, where they addressed issues of budget cuts to regions.
