The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), said this Wednesday (18) that he expects “in a very short time” a referral by the Ministry of Mines and Energy of a viable proposal to reduce the tariff. power. The statement was made after a meeting with the minister, Adolfo Sachsida, representatives of the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel), party leaders and representatives of civil society.
Discussions focus on the feasibility of PDL 94/22 (Project for a Legislative Decree to Suspend Normative Acts of the Executive Branch). The text, authored by deputy Domingos Neto (PSD-CE), which is being processed in the House, suspends Aneel’s decision that authorized the readjustment of the electricity bill of consumers served by Enel Distribuição, in Ceará.
“We had a very productive meeting, where Minister Sachsida left here with the task of meeting with the distributors, with Aneel and with the parliamentarians to discuss a balanced solution so that, from that moment on, he can have a solution to the problem. decrease in this transfer which, despite being contractual, can be minimized at the moment of great difficulty with the withdrawal of the flag and with an increase in this increase by the distributors”, highlighted Lira.
The president of the Chamber added that he hopes that the solution “comes from the sensitivity of Aneel and the distributors, which make concessions, at this moment in Brazil, a topic of much discussion”.
The expectation is that by the end of today the Minister of Mines and Energy will bring news about the discussions to the Legislature.
