Minister Luis Alberto Heber met with Aníbal Fernández

The Minister of the Interior, Luis Alberto Heber, is in Buenos Aires where he held a meeting with his similar Aníbal Fernández. The two security officials from Uruguay and Argentina, respectively, held a working meeting.

The objective, according to the Uruguayan portfolio, is to “work together in the fight against transnational crime.” In addition to “improving coordination in intelligence and information.”

Meanwhile, through his social networks, the Minister of the Interior himself stated; “We met with the Minister of Security of Argentina. We exchanged on various topics related to security.”

Later, he went on to add that “We agree on the importance of intelligence work between both countries to combat organized crime and transnational crime.”

The meeting between the leaders was preceded by the Uruguayan ambassador to the Argentine Republic, Carlos Enciso. From the Uruguayan Consulate, it was reported that the Minister of the Interior of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, Luis Alberto Heber, visited this Diplomatic Mission.
