The Minister of Agricultural Development Roberto Linares visited projects and led meetings with chiriquí producers in the middle of a work agenda by the province.
Linares met with 14 mayors, prosecutors and representatives of the livestock sector such as Anagán to address the problem he represents for cattle producers, livestock theft.
Raising sanctions is the constant application of farmers, especially medium and small producers.
The meeting was attended by the governor of the province Aixa Santamaría.
Linares also visited the Cooleche plant, located in the victory of Boquerón where it was received by Carlos Cruz, general manager, Jorge Araúz, planning manager and the ING Venancio González representative of the Board of Directors among other specialists and professionals who work in the installation .
The minister said he was impressed and congratulated the managers and their workers while expressing their intention to continue promoting milk production in the country.

The tour continued in the Board of Trustees of the David Fair, where it met with representatives of the Latin American Fund for Irrigation Rice, FLAR, and producers of the Province.
MIDA initiated a program to improve irrigation systems with which it seeks to strengthen the production of the item in chiriquí sectors.
