Regarding the focuses that the next government has in the portfolio, Muñoz expressed that they hope to advance on issues of “efficiency, equity, better quality of life and sustainability.”

Given this, Hutt clarified that “there is a challenge that we fully share, which is also in the government program of the future President Boric which is to close gaps, both quality gaps in transport services, as well as gaps with the regions and digital connectivity gaps, that is what has not driven us”.

At the meeting, the current authority highlighted the progress made in its management, such as the renovation of trains, electromobility with the development of electrocorridors in regions, the award of fiber optic coverage, the deployment of the 5g network and connectivity in education.

“These are things that leave us with the feeling of having advanced a little, but the gaps are still large,” he concluded.
