The Minister of the Interior, Willy Huerta, spoke about the accusations of the alleged adjustment that would be running against those under investigation karelim lopez and Zamir Villaverde, after both would-be effective collaborators reported being subjected to illegal surveillance by various members of the National Police of Peru.
Given this, Huerta ruled out that there was interest on the part of the Government for those investigated, and, instead, urged that said visits be investigated. “There is not a situation of running around, that they have been intervening. I regret that, so do not see that it is the objective, there is no possibility. If it is necessary to investigate, let it be investigated, and it will be clarified, but there is no adjustment”, said the head of the Interior this Sunday outside the Government Palace.
Also, when questioned about the behaviors shown by certain police officers when they were found in the immediate vicinity of the homes of López and Villaverde, Huerta defended them stating that “there has been a nervousness, but it has already been clarified at the police station and at the Prosecutor’s Office.”

Huerta is unaware of the existence of a plan to catch fugitives
On the other hand, the head of the Mininter denied the existence of a specific plan to catch fugitives close to Castillo such as Juan Silva, Bruno Pacheco and Fray Vásquez, despite the fact that former Minister Mariano González had announced the preparation of said document and the establishment of some equipment.
“I have not been given any plan in this regard, It has not been made known to me, and I cannot say whether or not there is, precisely, I should have delivered it, but one thing is for him to say it and another thing is for him to have done it”Huerta asserted.
However, he confirmed that “in the National Police, procedures are being carried out, premises and buildings are being raided, they are looking for these to be able to fulfill what has been committed and what is required by justice,” although he expressed that his management is focusing primarily on the fight against citizen insecurity.
