The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Felix Cheroruled on the statements made by President Pedro Castillo, who last Saturday said that he was going to extend his hand for the last time to the Congress to build a consensus.
The member of the ministerial cabinet assured that the expressions of the head of state are always distorted or misrepresented, for which he stressed that he has always been willing to reach agreements with Parliament.
“There is always a tendency to distort or misrepresent the expressions of the President of the Republic, and also of the ministers. What the president has always indicated is that he is willing to have, from this new stage, a country agenda in coordination with Congress”, he told the press from Chiclayo after participating in a campaign carried out by INPE.

“Beyond looking semantically for errors in expressions, it is time to see the true sense and meaning of what is said. We want to move forward and work in an organized and coordinated manner with Congress. I think it is possible to sit down and make an agenda with what the country needs”, he added.
Last Saturday, at the closing of the ceremony for the 198th anniversary of the Battle of Junín in the Historic Sanctuary of Chacamarca, the head of state indicated that he would extend his hand to the Legislature for the last time.
“I am willing that once and for all we make this effort, but I extend my hand for the last time so that, once and for all, these political forces make an effort to schedule this feat for democracyCastle said.
Work with Congress
At another time, the head of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights stated that peter castle has already extended an invitation to the president of Congress, Lady Camones (Alliance for Progress), to start a consensus dialogue.
“The President of the Republic has already extended the invitation to the President of Congress to sit down with both leaders of the powers of the State and to be able to jointly schedule issues”, Felix Chero pointed out.
