Minister Delgado met with the family of a truck driver killed in Antofagasta

The Minister of the Interior, Rodrigo Delgado, met this Saturday with the mother of Byron Castillo, a truck driver who died in Antofagasta last Thursday.

The government authority is in the city to try to unblock the conflict generated after the death of the 25-year-old carrier; in whose investigation migrants are involved.

For her part, the mother of the young truck driver commented that “they were going to give me a pension of 212 thousand pesos up to 300 until I was 18 years old, I do not agree. I do not demand money for myself, but I want it to be fair. He told me that he was going to be in contact with me”.

It should be remembered that Delgado arrived in Antofagasta to hold talks with the truckers and thus desist from the blockades on the routes and provide solutions for the safety of the carriers.
