The sector vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabelloconfirmed on Tuesday the capture of two more people who are involved in the case of explosives in Plaza Venezuela.
From the Miranda State, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace explained that “after investigations that we have been carrying out, since December we come with this, November, with the operation ‘No to Christmas’, all this is stuck.”
“No to Christmas, which is born in the Zulia state, a group of conspirators linked to drug trafficking groups, money laundering, which has taken us to all this line of research that has allowed us to dismantle criminal groups, bands, but also dismantle conspiracy groups and groups linked to drug trafficking,” he said.
Cabello recalled what happened with the case of explosives in Plaza Venezuela and added that “two people were missing (for being captured), alias el skinny and alias La Negra. Alias El Flaco was the person who built the explosive and the black was the intermediary, he contacted the bands in Colombia, trained in Colombia (…) They were already captured, the state security agencies captured them ».
He added that thanks to the contributions made by these people, Carlos Luis Arrieta Márquez, aka El Flaco, and Aliannis Araujo Lozada, aka La Negra, achieved the seizure of again weapons that would be used for destabilizing actions.
The minister said that both criminals were captured by the security forces in the Sucre state.
He also recognized the officials who participated in this case to dismantle these terrorist plans, stating that it is a winning team against terrorism, criminal gangs, drug trafficking and conspiracy.
