SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, Mexico.- The colonel Lázaro Delgado Chaple, second in command of the Directorate of Identification, Immigration and Foreigners (DIIE) of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), died a few days ago from complications of the Oropouche virus, according to Cuban officials close to the repressor.
Orestes Hernández Hernández, who works at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), reported the death on Friday, adding that Delgado was “a victim of complications derived from the Oropouche“.
