Ángel Álvarez added that “the most surprising thing for our people is the decision to dollarize 15 service stations in Bolívar state, which previously supplied subsidized fuel: 9 in the Heres municipality (today Angostura del Orinoco), 5 in Caroní and 1 Piar”

The leader of La Causa R, Ángel Álvarez, questioned the latest measures that the regional government has implemented, regarding the dispatch of fuel in the Bolívar state.
He recalled that last month, Governor Ángel Marcano promised that the gasoline problem in Bolívar state would be solved in the coming days with the arrival of 40,000 barrels of fuel by river, and that with the takeover of the service stations by the Government would put an end to corruption and lawlessness.
“He also said that with this the tails would also end and even the beak and plate would be eliminated. It’s already been a month of his promise and the fuel situation is worse in the state. Despite the threats to the people, of not staying overnight to queue, the lines of vehicles are endless, there continues to be corruption and lack of control at the bombs, ”he explained.
Álvarez added that “the most surprising thing for our people is the decision to dollarize 15 service stations in Bolívar state, which previously supplied subsidized fuel: 9 in the Heres municipality (today Angostura del Orinoco), 5 in Caroní and 1 Piar”.
“The level of government indolence with the people has no limits after plunging them into ruin and destroying their purchasing power. Now they are looking to finish spraying. Bolívar state is destroyed at the highest levels of its economy. Taking this decision to minimize the benefit of the gasoline subsidy to a few fuel stations means leaving the people stranded without the ability to get around. Venezuelans have starvation salaries and pensions that are not enough to pay for gasoline at international prices, since they earn less than 5 dollars a month,” he reiterated.
According to statements by Marcano this Monday on his radio program, in the Caroní municipality seven service stations at a subsidized price remain in Caroní, and he pointed out that they are located in “popular sectors.”
