In a statement to the media, Minister Bonilla indicated that “What emergency care has is an action plan in which different entities are involved. Here the difference with the emergency plan is that the UNGRD can execute it and not the entity directly, so resources have to come from the entities to transfer them to the Risk Unit to execute it. From there we are identifying the resources.”
The head of the Treasury portfolio also mentioned that: “In addition, they are asking us to make a difference, that we deliver the resources that are directed to the Military Forces directly to them and that we deliver the rest to the Unit.” This considering the delays that have already been recorded previously in the delivery of those resources.
According to the official, the money for use by the Military Forces would be used to finance fuel expenses and others that are required in all these emergency processes.
