He Minister of Education Ángel Hernández indicated that the Plan Decennial of Education Horizon 2034 is in the process of construction and that the document delivered is a version preliminary. In addition, he pointed out that with the opinions of the various actors in the educational system they will be perfecting it.
In a conversation with Free DiaryHernández described as positive the observations made by the Action Business for the Education (Educa) in which he pointed out some critical points that the plan must reinforce, among them the lack of details on how will financen the project actions.
In an Educa document, it points out that the plan does not present solutions “innovative” for territorial inequality and the lack of educational facilities. Also that the project lacks strategies to eradicate technological inequality, and maintains ambiguous methods of evaluation and monitoring of its processes.
Faced with these approaches, Hernández explained that they seek to establish how the proposal and that, in parallel, they are working on a complementary plan for the construction of educational spaces based on the population dynamics of each area.
The minister commented that this version preliminary of the document was published so that sectors of society that were interested in the topic could give their opinions.
“The commitment of minerd is to follow tuningcontinue collecting the opinions that the different sectors interested in education may give and, from there, build a version definitely,” he explained.
He confirmed that they intend that version The finished project will be ready by the end of January, so that it can be launched to achieve the objectives in a period of 10 years, as indicated by the name of the project: ten-year plan.
“The important thing is that the president Abinader will have the opportunity to promote this plan during its first four years, laying the fundamental foundations for its development and to guarantee that those who continue, after the end of this constitutional mandate, can continue strengthening the plan,” stated Hernández.
