Santo Domingo.’The Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD) reiterated his unwavering commitment with the safety and well-being of students, following the recent poisoning cases registered in educational centers of Barahona and Sabana Grande de Boyá.
The institution reported that, through its Legal Consultinghas presented formal complaints before him Public Ministry of the Dominican Republic to clarify these facts and guarantee that the corresponding measures are applied.
“Each case concerns us and concerns us deeply. The safety of our students is MINERD’s absolute priority, and we will spare no efforts to protect their integrity,” highlighted the educational portfolio.

Likewise, the institution indicated that it is investigating with maximum determination the reported incidents, working in close collaboration with the competent authorities to identify the causes and prevent future events.
The MINERD reaffirmed that it will continue filing legal actions in the event of any situation that puts the health of the educational community at risk.
Furthermore, the educational authorities have assured that they are implementing immediate measures for reinforce security protocols in schools, while awaiting the results of ongoing investigations.
